It felt ridiculous, especially after a long day. Plus, being jolted awake at 8 AM for maintenance was far from ideal!

A Great Choice for Business Stays
The hotel boasts fantastic leisure facilities, including a heated outdoor pool and a well-equipped fitness centre. I especially enjoyed the luxurious Polynesian Spa overlooking the picturesque Lake Rotorua, where the mineral pools are said to have therapeutic benefits—definitely a wonderful way to unwind after a long day of meetings! My room was comfortable with nice bedding and clean, which made for a restful stay. the hotel's location offered stunning views, making it a relaxing retreat amidst a busy schedule.
Minor room mix-up.

Convenience for getting to activities we wished to persue eg golf, thermal activity. In house restaurant excellent.
Hotel needed outdside maintenence ie peeling paintwork. Did not affect our enjoyment of our stay at this hotel. There was no receipt offered by hotel check-in staff for cost of room as booked through this system.

There was a Maori woman who was in charge of the restaurant while we were there and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. I can't remember her name but we stayed the night of the 1st and she was there that night as well as the next morning. She is a real asset to your hotel.

Mind-blowing authentic retro hotel with great staff and a perfect location. Pool was super, but too warm on a hot day. Food and drinks were jaw-droppingly good. Plus, they kindly saved my forgotten jacket!

I was booked into a cheap room and they upgraded me. I was booked in for 1 night but was unsure whether I would need an additional night and they said they would tentativet book me for the additional night. As it happens I didnt take up the additional night but it was nice knowing that I had some certainty of accomodation if I needed it. I am definately going to use this motel every time I return to stay in Rotorua.
